Welcome to Horizons Academy
Horizons Academy is located at 304 Wildcat Lane directly behind the new central office facility. The academy is designed to meet the needs of at-risk students who have trouble succeeding in a larger school environment. The above image is an architect’s rendering of the building.
Representatives of the school system and school board as well as ambassadors from the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce were present when Horizons Academy’s principal Scottie Collier cut the ribbon to open the new school on Jan. 2, 2008.
